Our Story

Founded by an uncle who wanted to buy the most comfortable pair of shoes for his nephew. We shortly realized how difficult it was to find shoes that were't restrictive and uncomfortable. We've always wondered why some children hated putting shoes on and why others did not. Was it tightness? was it look? was it feel? That's when we set out to start Slippies. 

Throughout the creation process we took into account more than just looks. New walkers need the grip, support, and flexibility of a shoe to help promote a natural walking posture. We aimed to provide a barefoot-like feel but with the comfort and protection of a flexible rubber sole. 

Our goal is for Slippies to be your child's favorite, we remember our favorite pair of shoes growing up and we want to share that experience.
